The presentation of the book titled "The Embassy Building Witnessing History: The Residence of the Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye", prepared on the initiative of the Ambassador of Turkey in Sofia Aylin Sekizkök, was held at the Sofia Central Army House.

In his speech here, Ambassador Sekizkök said that Atatürk served as a military attaché in the historical building, which is the subject of the book, for 17 months between 1913 and 1915. Sekizkök stated that the articles in the book include statements and photographs on the history of diplomatic relations between Bulgaria and Türkiye.

Bulgarian Deputy Minister of Culture Viktor Stoyanov said: "We wish prosperity and happiness to Türkiye and the friendly Turkish people. Bulgaria and Turkey are neighbours, friends, allies in NATO and important partners in many fields."

The programme continued with a concert of Atatürk's favourite songs and ended with a reception in honour of the participants from cultural, scientific, political and artistic circles.
