Western Thrace originated public health expert and board member of Partnership for Maternal, Newborn and Child Health (PMNCH) who was also listed in 30 Under 30 of Forbes Turkey as one of the 30 Most Inspiring Youth in 2019 Enes Efendioğlu points out the significance of the mental health in the process of pandemic in Daily Sabah.
According to Efendioğlu measures taken to avoid the spread of the virus leads to some mental diseases based on scientific data. In this accordance, "among these vulnerable groups that require special attention are adolescents aged 10 to 19" says Efendioğlu.
