Referring to the data on Islamophobia in the report, Başar said, "This year, a record has been broken with 6,270 anti-Islamic attacks. Ethnic and religious discrimination and attitudes towards asylum seekers in America and Europe have led to the rise of the far right, identity conflicts and violations of rights in these countries . The attacks on the axis of anti-Islam in EU-based rights violations are increasing every year."

Stating that discrimination on the basis of race and religion stands out as the most basic human rights violation in the USA, Başar said that while the use of unlawful and disproportionate violence that causes deaths by law enforcement officers in the USA and EU countries has increased significantly, it is mostly directed towards refugees and immigrant groups.

Stating that the Türkiye -Greece border line and the Aegean Sea have become a life and death line for refugees, migrants and asylum seekers under the supervision of the EU Border and Coast Guard Agency Fontex, Başar said, "41,523 irregular migrants until the first half of 2021-2022 pushed back by Greece.  86 immigrants froze or drowned to death in the same period. Başar noted that as of January 23, more than 7 thousand civilians lost their lives in the war between Ukraine and Russia. 11 million people became refugees. Başar also stated that the EU's temporary protection regulation for refugees is applied only to Ukrainian immigrants .

Explaining that Israel demolished 950 Palestinian buildings and confiscated more than 113 thousand square meters of land, Başar stated that Israel, which created 114 new settlement plans, handed over 2,220 residences to Jewish settlers.

Stating that the far-right Hindu nationalist BJP Party, which won the 2014 elections in India, restricted the rights of Muslim citizens and prevented headscarved women from being in public institutions and receiving education, Başar said that 225 people lost their lives in the popular uprising in Kazakhstan.

Başar stated that rights such as "life", "material and moral bodily integrity", "deprivation of liberty" were violated due to the disproportionate use of force by law enforcement in Iran, and that a total of 458 people, 29 of whom were women, 63 of whom were under the age of 18, were violated.
