Young people to gather along the Karasu River for “Youth Festival in Nature”
The Young Academics Community (GAT) is organizing a special outdoor gathering titled “Youth Festival in Nature” in İskeçe.
Held under the slogan “The Perfect Harmony of Music, Nature, and Flavor,” the event will take place on Saturday, May 16, at 1:00 PM in the picnic area along the Nestos River, also locally known as Karasu.
Youth Dialogue and Outdoor Activities Planned
The event is being organized under the umbrella of the Western Thrace Minority University Graduates Association and aims to bring together young people in a relaxed natural environment featuring cultural discussion, live music, and social activities.
As part of the program, a discussion session moderated by Hilmi Eren Sait will feature speakers Azra Hasan and Fatma Hüseyin.
Participants will also have the opportunity to enjoy a picnic and spend time outdoors accompanied by live music performances.
Event Open to the Public
In a statement shared on GAT’s official social media accounts, organizers emphasized that the “Youth Festival in Nature” event is open to everyone.
The initiative reflects ongoing efforts by youth organizations in Western Thrace to encourage social engagement, cultural exchange, and community interaction among young people in the region.
