Young kinsman dies in accident in Komotini
A traffic accident occurred today in the area where the public market is held in Komotini. The accident occurred at noon at the junction of Georgiou Zarifis and Apostolidis Mirtilos Kosmas streets.
It was stated that in the accident where a motorbike with two young kinsmen and a vehicle driven by another kinsman collided, the young people were thrown to the road as a result of the violent collision of the motorbike with the vehicle.
One of the young people who fell to the ground died on the spot, while the other young man was seriously injured.
After the accident, police and ambulance were dispatched to the scene.
After the intervention of the health team at the scene, the injured young man was taken to Alexandroupoli Hospital, while the young man who lost his life was taken to Komotini Hospital for autopsy.
