Yassıköy women to organize a bazaar for earthquake victims
After two major earthquakes with a magnitude of 7.7 and 7.6 in Kahramanmaraş, there was great destruction in 10 provinces. Thousands of buildings were destroyed, thousands of citizens lost their lives, thousands of citizens survived, but they lost their homes and all their property.
Campaigns were organized in Western Thrace to heal the wounds of the earthquake victims, and the minority people gave great support both in terms of food, cleaning products, clothing materials, and financially.
The Turks of Western Thrace are not content with these, they continue to extend a helping hand to the earthquake victims who are in trouble in their motherland Türkiye. Charity bazaars were organized in many places in Komotini, Xanthi, and Meriç provinces. and they continue to do so.
One of the places where a bazaar will be held for the benefit of earthquake victims will be Yassıköy, a province of Rhodope. The charity bazaar will take place on March 12, 2023 under the leadership of the charitable women of Yasssıköy, with the slogan "Unity Makes Strength".
Food and beverage products will be sold at Yassıköy bazaar, face painting and surprise activities will be held for children. All the people of Western Thrace are invited to the bazaar where the financial income will be sent to the motherland of Türkiye for the earthquake victims.
