Yassıköy Mayor Imam visits hail-affected areas
Yassıköy Mayor Caner Imam visited villages in the Yaka area where crops were damaged as a result of hail on Sunday night, 21 April 2024, and met with producers of cherries and other crops.
Mayor Caner Imam visited the damaged areas on Monday 22 April 2024 with Deputy Mayors Müjdat Karahasan, Kubilay Manko Mehmet and an official of the Agricultural Compensation Board ELGA and conveyed his condolences to the producers and stated that the necessary damage assessment work will be carried out quickly to compensate the damages incurred.
In the statement made by the municipality regarding the visits to the regions where the hail was effective, "Our mayor Av. Caner İmam, together with the municipal agricultural engineer, deputy mayors and Elga official, visited our farmers affected by the hail that was effective between Bulatköy - Yuvacılı villages (yaka region) on 21/04/2023 and conveyed their wishes for the past and reported that they started damage assessment studies."
