"Xanthi Turkish Union Women's Meeting" held in Paşevik village

The last event of this year of the 'Women's Meetings' organised by the Women's Section of ITB and ITB courses was hosted by the Paşevik Sewing, Embroidery and Handicrafts Course of Xanthi Turkish Union.

The opening speech of the event was made by Paşevik course instructor Nuran Çavuşoğlu.
Nuran Çavuşoğlu thanked the guests and thanked the people of the village and especially the women who supported her and the course in every way.

Zeynur Bargan, President of the Women's Section of ITB and Spokesperson of the Western Thrace Turkish Women's Platform, expressed her pleasure to be together with the women of Paşevikli. Bargan stated that the aim of the Women's Section is to take part in the favour of women with the projects and activities they organise.

Finally, the guest of the event, Child Health Specialist Dr Münnevver Ago made a presentation on "Recommendations for the Healthy Development of Children and Issues to be Considered". Dr Ago then answered the questions of the participants.

At the end of the event, İTB Paşevik Sewing - Embroidery Course presented the speaker Dr Münevver Ago, Nadire Ömer Trampa, wife of Mustafa Trampa, Mufti of Xanthi, and Özlem Otuzbir, wife of Dr Hüseyin Baltacı, President of WTMUGA, with the handicrafts they prepared in Kusrta.

After the presentation of gifts, traditional foods prepared by Paşevikli trainees were served to the guests.

The event in Paşevik village was attended by Zeynur Bargan, Spokesperson of the Western Thrace Turkish Women's Platform and President of ITB Women's Section, Nadire Ömer Trampa, wife of Mustafa Trampa, Mufti of Xanthi, Özlem Otuzbir, wife of Hüseyin Baltacı, President of the Western Thrace Minority University Graduates Association, members of ITB Women's Section, ITB Sewing and Embroidery trainees and women from Paşevik village.
