Xanthi Turkish Union, which was founded on April 14, 1927 and is the first non-governmental organization of the Western Thrace Turkish Minority, has left behind 95 years since its establishment.
Xanthi Turkish Union has published two videos on its social media accounts, which include some of the activities and works of the association, due to its 95th anniversary. Congratulatory messages from ITB administrators were also included in the videos.
In a written statement made by the Xanthi Turkish Union on its anniversary, "Xanthi Turkish Union, which has grown over the years with the love and support of our people, with the mission of keeping our culture, values, and identity alive and transferring them to the future, has led our society in the fields of culture, art, music, folklore, sports, and education. We will continue to demonstrate and bring back what we have learned from our people and culture to our people and culture,” statement was included.

With the mission of keeping our culture, values, and identity alive and transferring it to the future, with the love and support of our people, the Xanthi Turkish Union, which has grown over the years, continues to guide our society in the fields of culture, art, music, folklore, sports, and education and continue to bring what we have learned from our people and culture to our people and culture.
Xanthi Turkish Association has spent 39 years of its 95-year life in the struggle for rights to return its legal status by rescinding the closure decision given by Greek courts due to the phrase 'Turkish' in its name and by implementing the decision of the European Court of Human Rights in favor of our association.
