Xanthi Turkish Union contacts in Strasbourg

In his private social media account the Xanthi Turkish Union President Ozan Ahmetoğlu stated that they held talks in Strasbourg regarding the ECtHR decisions that have not been implemented by Greece for 14 years.

Ahmetoğlu stated the follows:

“We are in Strasbourg. We came to the Council of Europe regarding the ECHR decisions of Xanthi Turkish Union and other Turkish minority associations that have not been implemented by Greece for 14 years. Our demand, our expectation, is to end the victimization that Western Thrace Turks have been subjected to for years.”

Together with Xanthi Turkish Union President Ozan Ahmteoğlu, Lawyer İlker Çavuşoğlu, Director of BAKEŞ Pervin Hayrullah, and Human Rights Expert Kerem Abdurrahimoğlu attend the meetings at the Council of Europe.
