Xanthi Turkish Union administration pay visit to Consul General Aykut Ünal
Executives led by Xanthi Turkish Union (ITB) President Ozan Ahmetoğlu visited Turkey's Consul General in Komotini, Aykut Ünal, on Wednesday, January 25, 2023, and wished him success in his new position.
ITB President Ozan Ahmetoğlu informed Consul General Unal about the Xanthi Turkish Union, the first non-governmental organization of the Western Thrace Turkish Minority, and reminded that the struggle for rights of the association entered its 40th year this year, and explained the last stage reached.
Aykut Unal, Consul General of the Republic of Turkey to Komotini, also expressed his satisfaction with the visit and thanked the ITB administration.
Xanthi Turkish Union President Ahmetoğlu presented an oil painting of the Pazaryeri Mosque and the clock tower in Xanthi city square to Turkey's Consul General in Komotini, Aykut Unal, in memory of his visit.
