WTMUGA Miracle Theater to perform in Edirne
The BTAYTD Miracle Theater will present the play “Have You Ever Seen Fireflies?” on January 4, 2025, at the Edirne State Theater.
Operating under the Western Thrace Minority Higher Education Graduates Association (WTMUGA), the Miracle Theater brings Yılmaz Erdoğan’s renowned work to the stage. The performance, which previously played to sold-out audiences at the Xanthi Municipal Theater Hall, will begin at 7:00 PM on Saturday evening.
Director Senemahu Topuz and coordinator Sevtap Hint have played pivotal roles in bringing the production to life, overcoming limited resources to deliver an exceptional performance. Their dedication highlights the efforts of the Turkish minority to express their voice through art.
The production boasts contributions from Sabri Hacıibram in sound and lighting design, Yiğit Bener Avcı in set design, and Sevgi Kehaya in costume design.
The talented cast includes Arda Bozoğlu, Dilara Kayra Hatip, Ayça Peçenik, Hüseyin Hacıimam, and others.
The play will be performed free of charge, and all theater enthusiasts are invited to attend.
