Women from Komotini meet at the "Women Talking" event
The event titled "Women Talking" organised by the Women's Section of the Komotini Turkish Youth Union on Monday evening, 04 March 2024, took place in a friendly chat environment.
Within the scope of the event, the participants had the opportunity to listen to the experiences, achievements, problems and stances of the women of Western Thrace from the first person.
During the event, which was accompanied by our moderator Pervin Hayrullah, Aslı Ali, President of GTGB Women's Section, thanked the guests for their participation in our invitation.
Ilayda Ünal, wife of the Consul General of Türkiye in Komotini Aykut Ünal, attended the event and did not leave the women alone. Making a speech to the participants, Mrs Ünal stated that she was happy to be present at the event and that women are stronger when they are together.
Ayşe Kırdali and Mediha Bekiroğlu shared their experiences and drew attention to the educational problems in our region. Eylem Amet shared the process of adaptation to Western Thrace. Asime Hasanoğlu talked about the effect of an insecure generation on our lives and what can be done in this situation. Sevgi Molla talked about the place of children with special needs in society and Vildan Şerif clarified the question of what are the rights of these individuals.
