Women from the village of Gencerli in the rural plain of İskeçe carried out a charitable initiative by supporting an orphan aid campaign organized in Western Thrace.

Under the leadership of teacher Seher Ahmet, the women of the village organized themselves to contribute to the “Dress an Orphan” campaign launched by the Mufti Office of İskeçe.

Contribution to Orphan Support Project

The campaign, titled “Dress an Orphan”, aims to provide clothing assistance for children in need. The collected contributions were delivered to the Mufti Office as part of the initiative.

Following the donation, Mustafa Trampa shared a message on social media expressing gratitude to the women of Gencerli for their support.

In his statement, Mufti Trampa said:

“Under the guidance of teacher Seher Ahmet, the women of our village Gencerli delivered their contributions to our ‘Dress an Orphan’ project. May God increase our blessings through the help extended to our orphans.”
Community Solidarity in Western Thrace

The initiative has been widely appreciated as an example of community solidarity and charitable engagement within the Turkish Muslim community of Western Thrace.

Local residents highlighted that such efforts demonstrate the important role of grassroots initiatives and community volunteers in supporting vulnerable children and families.
