Western Thrace Turks meet at the night of Gütersloh Family Association
ABTTF was represented by Vice Presidents Vedat Arap and Fuat Ali and the traditional evening was attended by the executives and members of the host association, their families and many Western Thrace Turks living in and around the city of Gütellsoh.
President of the association Timur İsmail thanked the guests who attended the evening. ABTTF Vice-President Vedat Arap stated that he was very happy to attend the evening on behalf of ABTTF and conveyed the greetings of ABTTF President Halit Habipoğlu and his colleagues who are members of the Presidium.
Stating that ABTTF endeavours on international platforms to protect the rights of the Turkish community in Western Thrace and to announce its just cause to the world with the strength it receives from its member associations and Western Thrace Turks living in Europe, Arap noted that member associations constitute the cornerstone of the struggle for rights.
Arap pointed out that the traditional cultural and family nights organised by the member associations are one of the most important means of keeping the Western Thrace Turkish culture alive and transferring it to the younger generations and stated that these nights are important activities that enable the Western Thrace Turks living in Germany to come together.
The participants had the opportunity to have fun with the music and to fulfil their longing.
