Western Thrace students show support for a kinsman undergoing treatment
The students from Western Thrace, who are studying at the university, extended a helping hand to the family member from Komotini, who is being treated at Edirne Trakya University Hospital.
Cemile Molla Ahmet, a resident of Tuzçuköy in Rhodope province, has been undergoing therapy at the Oncology Department of Trakya University Hospital for some time due to an illness.
Blood was needed to continue the treatment of the female compatriot.
Having learnt about the need for blood, Western Thracian students who are members of Edirne Western Thrace Student Union (BATÖB) studying in different departments of Trakya University went to the Oncology Department of the hospital without wasting time and gave blood for the cognate being treated.
The students from Western Thrace made Cemile Molla Ahmet, who is undergoing treatment, and her family emotional and happy with their blood donation and the example of solidarity they showed.
The health condition of the female kinsman, who has been receiving therapy in the hospital at regular intervals for some time, is improving. She will continue to receive treatment for a while.
