Tragedy in Drama: 14-year-old killed driving pickup truck

A tragic road accident occurred on Monday afternoon in the village of Volakas, in Eastern Macedonia and Thrace region of Drama claiming the life of a 14-year-old boy.

According to local reports, four underage boys aged 13 to 15 were driving a pickup truck through the rural roads of the mountainous area. At some point, the vehicle overturned, resulting in the death of the 14-year-old driver.

Another boy sustained head and leg injuries and is currently hospitalized in Drama. The remaining two children escaped the incident unharmed.

An investigation into the circumstances of the accident is ongoing, with police examining how the minors gained access to the vehicle.
