Traditional iftar in Zeynelli village of Xanthi
Zeynelli village of Topiros Municipality of Xanthi continued the iftar tradition this year as well.
The traditional Zeynelli iftar, organised by the village people, the imam of the mosque and the board of trustees, took place this year on Monday 25 March.
The traditional dishes cooked by Zeynelli women hand in hand were highly appreciated by the participants of the iftar.
Mufti of Xanthi Mustafa Trampa, Xanthi MPs Hüseyin Zeybek and Burhan Baran, Deputy Consul General Barış Çulha representing the Consulate General of Turkey in Komotini, Mayor of Topiros Thomas Mihoğlu, President of the FEP Party Çiğdem Asafoğlu, WTMUGA President Hüseyin Baltacı, ITB President Ozan Ahmetoğlu, President of Çınar Dereği and President of Millet Media Group Cengiz Ömer, President of Xanthi Ova Culture, Solidarity and Brotherhood Association Ömer Muzafferoğlu, Former Mayor of Mustafçova Cemil Kabza and many guests attended the event.
After the Iftar meal, Mufti Trampa, MPs Zeybek and Baran, President of the FEP Party, Presidents of the associations Ozan Ahmetoğlu and Hüseyin Baltacı made welcoming speeches.
