Thrace Tobacco Producers Cooperative attended the UNITAB meeting

The president and managers of the Thrace Tobacco Producers Cooperative attended the World Tobacco Producers and Cooperatives Association conference held in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria.

The 37th conference organized by the World Union of Tobacco Producers and Cooperatives (UNITAB) was held in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria, between 25-26 October.

Greek tobacco producers' associations also attended the international conference held in Sofia, hosted by the Bulgarian Tobacco Producers Association.

The president and representatives of the Thrace Tobacco Producers Cooperative attended the meetings that lasted for two days and had the opportunity to meet and exchange ideas with the cooperative managers who attended the meeting from many countries of the world.

Representatives of the Thrace Tobacco Cooperative, who had the opportunity to meet and meet one-on-one with the cooperative representatives and presidents of Bulgaria, Italy, France and Poland, announced that they had taken the first step towards becoming sister cooperatives and signing cooperation protocols with the said cooperatives.

Thrace Tobacco Cooperative President Sinan Ahmet, in his statement on his personal social media account, stated that representatives of all countries attending the meeting held in Bulgaria discussed the issues of supporting tobacco producers by governments and selling tobacco at higher prices.

Sinan Ahmet said, "All our efforts and endeavours are to ensure that we reach a better tomorrow together. Do not doubt that we will always continue to work tirelessly for you." he made a statement.
