The works made from the courses of the Komotini Turkish Youth Union (GTGB) were presented to the public at the exhibition held in Komotini.

The works made from the courses of the Komotini Turkish Youth Union (GTGB) were presented to the participants at the Traditional Sewing, Embroidery and Handicrafts Exhibition held at the Cris&Eve hotel in Komotini on Wednesday, October 19 at 18:00.

The members of the Board of Directors of Komotini Turkish Youth Union welcomed the guests attending the exhibition at the front door. The program started with protocol speeches.

GTGB President Sedat Hasan made the opening speech. He informed the participants about the training given in the courses operating under the umbrella of the Association and the work of the trainees.

The Chairman of the Western Thrace Turkish Minority Advisory Board and the Mufti of Komotini, İbrahim Şerif also attended the exhibition. Murat Ömeroğlu, the Consul General of Türkiye, made a speech and expressed his thoughts about the course and the exhibition where the works were exhibited, and congratulated those who contributed.

After the speeches, Consul General Ömeroğlu and other protocol members visited the stands where sewing, embroidery, handicrafts, ceramics, quilling and marbling works were exhibited one by one and received information from the course instructors about the works.

Local politicians and administrators from non-governmental organizations also showed interest in the Traditional Sewing, Embroidery and Handicrafts Exhibition, which was attended by many female compatriots from different villages of the Rhodope region.
