The second youngster we lost in a motorbike accident, will be buried today
The hopeful wait for 18-year-old Onur Apti, who was seriously injured in a motorbike accident in Komotini on 13 April, was taken to Alexandroupoli University Hospital and after hours of surgery he was taken to intensive care.
However, unfortunately, the sad news came to his family and relatives from the hospital yesterday.
Young Onur, who has been struggling for life in the intensive care unit of the hospital since the accident, unfortunately lost the struggle.
The Western Thrace Turkish Minority community, which was shaken by the death of young Eray İbrahim who lost his life at the scene of the accident, was now shaken for the second time with the painful news coming from Onur who was seriously injured in the same accident.
Onur, who had been in intensive care for days, lost his life yesterday morning and the necessary procedure at the hospital was completed.
The body of young Onur Apti, who passed away yesterday, was taken from Alexandroupoli University Hospital today and brought to Komotini.
Following the Asr prayer to be performed today (Tuesday, 25 April 2023), first of all, after the funeral prayers, the family, relatives and neighbours of young Onur will be asked for their condolences at his house located at Agamennonas Street (at the entrance of the neighbourhood on the side of the cemetery where Dr. Sadık Ahmet's grave is located) in Bağlar Quarter, where his family lives, and then he will be buried in Kahveci Cemetery, where Dr. Sadık Ahmet's grave is located, and then he will be sent off to his last journey.
