The project Cultural Routes in the Old Town has been completed by the Municipality of Xanthi

The Municipality of Xanthi has completed the project Cultural Routes in the Old Town of Xanthi, which was implemented within the framework of the Operational Program "Eastern Macedonia, Thrace" for the period 2021-2027.

The project aims to highlight the rich cultural heritage of the area, offering visitors the unique opportunity to explore one hundred points of interest of the traditional settlement, which were recorded and documented in detail with rich photographic material.

In addition, an innovative Digital Cultural Guide, available via website and mobile devices, offers users the opportunity to navigate a unique virtual experience with 360° panoramic tours, giving them the feeling of being in the heart of the Old City.

All project materials and results are freely accessible to the public through a related website that acts as the central information and access hub.

At the same time, a specially designed space has been created in the Old Town Hall of Xanthi, which acts as a reference point for visitors who wish to be informed and acquire material from the project.
