The joy of Ramadan in historical Fıçıllı mosque
The joy of Ramadan was experienced with the mass iftar held in Fıçıllı, one of the historical villages of Xanthi where only 25 Turkish Minority members remained.
In the village of Xanthi, the real name of which is Fecirli, but known as Fıçıllı among the people, collective iftar and mawlid al-Sharif were read (Friday, April 15).
Hearts were delighted with the mass iftar held in the Muharrem Bin Hacı Mümin Ağa Mosque of Fıçıllı Village, one of the abandoned villages of Xanthi where only 25 Muslim Turks live today. The joy of Ramadan was experienced at the fast-breaking dinner where the compatriots from Xanthi and Komotini came together. The spiritual atmosphere of Ramadan was felt at the iftar, which brought together our compatriots from different places.
The joy of our compatriots, who congratulated and chatted with each other at the fast-breaking meal, which was attended by many men, women, and children, could be seen in their eyes.
Many people say, "We did well and came here. What a beautiful village. It's nice to take care of our beautiful mosque, which is an heirloom from our ancestors." It was the most obvious manifestation of the sincere atmosphere.
The Iftar, which was organized with the contributions of Xanthi deputy Burhan Baran, was also contributed by the initiative of the Ihlamur group Friends of Hearts, which supported the restoration of the Fıçıllı Mosque, as well as the villagers.
As it will be remembered, it was stated in the statement made days ago that those who wished could participate in this spiritual table.
