The first hatim ceremony of 2023 in Xanthi

Hatim ceremonies in Xanthi started enthusiastically from the village of Salıncak in the Mustafçova (Miki) region.

Hatim ceremonies organized for students who continue their Qur'an courses under the roof of the Xanthi Mufti started on Sunday, April 30, 2023 in the village of Salıncak.

The Xanthi Mufti Mustafa Trampa attended the Hatim ceremony in the Salıncak (Eora) village, which was held with great enthusiasm and high participation.

The students' recitation of the Holy Qur'an, the poems and hymns they recited at the Salıncak village hatim ceremony were greatly appreciated.

Mufti Trampa made the hatim prayer after the ceremony.

In his speech after the prayer, Mufti Trampa congratulated the religious educator and Imam-Hatibi Theologian Yilmaz Mahmut, students and their families, and wished them great success.

Mufti Trampa drew attention to the importance of the intense interest shown by compatriots to the hatim ceremony, which can be held in a comfortable environment after a long time, and said once again that the hatim ceremonies are events that our society attaches importance to and reinforce our unity and solidarity.

In addition to the Mufti of Xanthi Trampa, the Hatim ceremony was attended by Deputy Mufti Ahmet Hraloğlu, Xanthi deputies Hüseyin Zeybek and Burhan Baran, Mayor of Mustafçova (Miki) Rıdvan Delihüseyin, Western Thrace Minority Graduates Association President Hüseyin Baltacı, Mustafaçova Municipality opposition list leaders Cemil Kabza, Ahmet Kurt, Önder Meçoğlu, one of the former mayors Mücahit Dukkanci, prominent representatives of the minority and a large crowd of people attended.

In the hatim ceremony held in the village of Salıncak, traditional meat pilaf (rice) and ayran (shake yoghurt) were served to the guests after the noon prayer.
