The fight against mosquitoes continues in the Rhodope region
The Rhodope Unit of the Eastern Macedonia and Thrace State Presidency is spraying mosquitoes in the Rhodope region today.
As part of the mosquito control program carried out by the Eastern Macedonia and Thrace Province, natural and rural spraying will be carried out in the Rhodope region today.
Spraying will be done in Rhodope region near Ismarida and Vistonida lakes and in natural and rural areas in that region.
The spraying, which started earlier today, will continue on Wednesday, May 3, tomorrow. Spraying will be done between 06.00 and 14.00 hours.
In the statement made on the subject, a warning was made that citizens or animals should not wander during the spraying in the above-mentioned regions for precautionary purposes today and tomorrow.
Spraying will not be done in residential areas. The helicopter, which only sprays, will pass over the residential areas without posing a risk in terms of public health, on the way to and from the areas where the pesticide is applied.
