The 7th week presentations of the "Being a Woman in the Balkan Region" project continued in Şahin (Echinos), Gökçepınar (Glafki), and Ketenlik (Kentavros) villages.
The 7th week meeting of the "Being a Woman in the Balkan Region" project, organized by the Western Thrace Minority Graduates Association and the Xanthi Mufti Office, was held on Wednesday, 18 May at 18:00 at Şahin Karaca Ayşe Cultural Center, under the umbrella of Şahin Education and Culture Association.
The 7th week presentations of the project continued on Thursday, May 19 in Gökçepınar and Ketenlik villages.
Yildiz UZUN, the preacher of the Xanthi Mufti Office, discussed the issues of "abortion in the religion of Islam" and "under what circumstances is abortion permissible". Specialist gynecologist Selma GİROĞLU, on the other hand, discussed the common gynecological diseases of today, “Breast Cancer” and “Cervical Cancers” and emphasized the importance of early diagnosis.
“Being a Woman in the Balkan Region” project continues in Şahin, Gökçepınar, and Ketenlik villages of Xanthi Balkan Region. The program is expected to be implemented in other villages next year.
