Members of the Western Thrace Turkish Teachers' Union (BTTÖB) went to the polls today to determine the managers who will serve on the new administrative and supervisory boards.
One of the important non-governmental organizations of the Western Thrace Turkish Minority, the Western Thrace Turkish Teachers' Union (BTTÖB) had an election excitement on Saturday, May 28, 2022.
The BTTÖB General Assembly program started with the determination of the members of the council committee. Mehmet Emin, the former president of BTAYTD, was elected as the head of the council, while the young teachers Burak Adil and Züleyha Baltacı became the secretaries.
After the council committee was determined, BTTÖB President Aydın Ahmet informed the members about the activities carried out by the board of directors.
In the continuation of the program, the report prepared by the supervisory board was shared with the members. Subsequently, he was acquitted by the members of both the board of directors and the supervisory board.
After the members expressed their opinions in the criticism and suggestion section, the selection process was started.
First, candidates for the board of directors and supervisors were determined. Then the members went to the polls and cast their votes. Candidate names and votes in the elections where 192 votes were used are as follows:

DUTIES WERE DISTRIBUTED, PRESIDENT REASSURED
While the BTTÖB General Assembly ended with the elections held to determine the new managers, the members elected to the management and auditing made the distribution of tasks as a result of the meeting they held among themselves.
Aydın Ahmet, who received the most votes in the elections, became president once again by gaining the trust of both the members of the union and those elected to the administration.
