Swimming pool in İskeçe to close throughout August for annual maintenance
According to the municipality, the maintenance program is carried out every year to ensure the facility continues to meet high standards of hygiene, safety and operational efficiency.
During the closure, technical inspections, maintenance procedures and necessary upgrades will be completed to improve the safety and overall condition of the facility.
Municipal officials stated that once the work is completed, the swimming pool will be ready to serve the 2026–2027 education and sports season under improved conditions. The facility is expected to host school activities, public swimming sessions, sports club training and rehabilitation-related sports programs.
The Municipality of İskeçe said the pool is expected to reopen in September, with the exact reopening date to be announced in a future public notice.
