Successful earthquake and fire drill held at Xanthi General Hospital

The exercise scenario included the evacuation of hospital departments and the rescue of patients.
The drill was carried out within the framework of the emergency plans "Sostratos" and "Perseas," aiming to train staff, reinforce the understanding of emergency roles among participants, and strengthen the sense of safety.
“We extend our sincere thanks to the Health Operations Center of EKAV (KEPY-EKAV), which coordinated and supervised the drill, the IV Army Corps, the Xanthi Fire Department, the Xanthi Police Department, the Civil Protection Department of the Municipality of Xanthi, the Civil Protection Department of the Regional Unit of Xanthi, as well as the Administration of the 4th Health District of Macedonia–Thrace, all of whom contributed significantly to the preparation and successful outcome of the initiative,” the official announcement states.
