New Left Rodophe region Deputy Özgür Ferhat published a written statement about the "Market PASS" aid that the government implemented as part of the fight against expensiveness.

“As a result of the research we conducted in the social assistance department of the Ministry of Economy about the market pass, as many of our citizens applied to our office:

-MARKET PASSes were cut off for the general population in September and will not be paid again until a new similar application is released.

-The current practice in regions damaged by natural disasters and fires has been extended until December 2023.

-The last overdue payments will probably be deposited into the accounts on February 5.

-Non-payment has nothing to do with the change of postal codes in the Komotini region.

-AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, NEW DEMOCRACY GOVERNMENT has eliminated yet another social aid in this expensive environment,
