Sibel Mustafaoğlu: “What are you so afraid of?”

Sibel Mustafaoğlu, former parliamentary candidate for PASOK in the Rhodope region and current founder-president of the EPOMEA Rhodope Search and Rescue unit, training coordinator for EPOMEA Selanik, and head of the Rhodope Addiction Prevention Agency, has made strong remarks on recent political developments.
Emphasizing that she has been a member of PASOK for 20 years, Mustafaoğlu stated:
“I owe no explanation to anyone — especially not to someone who has changed party and ideology five times.”
She accused the person in question of acting purely out of self-interest and added:
“Your so-called far-right, fascist friends who pretend to care about PASOK are after the same thing.”
Mustafaoğlu underlined that PASOK is a party with deep roots and progressive values, noting that its historic cadres know each member well and that her political path within the party has been consistent and well-known for two decades.
She concluded her statement with a pointed question:
“Just like your far-right friends who pretend to care about PASOK and its president, what exactly is it that you are so afraid of?”
