Two children, aged just 13 and 11, were found unconscious and intoxicated at the port of Alexandroupoli, sparking widespread concern. Following the incident, their parents were arrested.

Two children, aged just 13 and 11, were found unconscious and intoxicated at the port of Alexandroupoli, sparking widespread concern. Following the incident, their parents were arrested.

Security officers from the Port Authority's Security Office discovered the two minors lying unconscious on the ground. Emergency services were immediately notified, and the children were transported by ambulance to Alexandroupoli General Hospital.

Medical examinations confirmed that both children were under the influence of alcohol. They were admitted for observation and medical care.

Authorities ordered the arrest of the parents, aged 33 and 31, on charges of endangering the welfare of minors, in accordance with Article 306 of the Penal Code.

A preliminary investigation is being conducted by the Central Port Authority of Alexandroupoli.

The incident has caused significant concern and outrage among the local community.
