Rhodope women to have the Quran recited for those who died in the earthquake
Women from Rhodope the will have the Holy Quran recited in the Hamsah Hall in the Haranlık District of Komotini after the afternoon prayer, on Tuesday, February 14, 2023, for those who lost their lives in the great earthquake that caused the destruction of thousands of houses in 10 provinces, the central province of which is Kahramanmaraş in the motherland of Türkiy.
Sibel Mustafaoğlu, who pioneered the realization of the religious event, stated the following in her speech to the NATION:
"We were deeply saddened by the devastating earthquake described as the "Disaster of the Century" in the Republic of Turkey. As Rhodope women, we will approach the issue sensitively and recite the Qur'an, addressing the souls of our brothers and sisters who have lost their lives, apart from material and moral assistance.
After the afternoon prayer in Komotini Hamsah Hall on Tuesday, February 14, 2023, all our women are invited. May Allah accept our intentions".
