PEOPLE'S MOVEMENT holds consultation meeting
The members of the list gathered under the chairmanship of Cemil Kabza, President of the People's Movement and mayoral candidate, and had the opportunity to meet and exchange ideas with each other.
The meeting, which was held in a hotel in Xanthi on Wednesday evening, 6 September, was attended by approximately 100 candidates out of 117 candidates from the People's Movement list. Candidates who could not attend the meeting due to their jobs sent a message.
In his speech at the meeting, Cemil Kabza, the head of the list, drew attention to the events that took place during the formation of the list of the People's Movement, which will compete on 8 October, and talked about the strategy of the list in the election process.
Kabza pointed out that a voluntary, solid, faithful, energetic, sincere and determined team was established and said, "Municipality is a work of the heart. Everyone here has come from the heart. It gives me pride to address in a hall full of friends of the heart. You are all important stones of this building. We have always appeared before our people with the understanding of "WE". For 13 years, we have been the voice of our people in our municipality, the interpreter and solution of the problems. Our door has been open to everyone and will continue to be open. We are experienced, we are faithful, we are determined and we will succeed in this work hand in hand, heart to heart, with the permission of Allah."
After the speech of President Cemil Kabza, the legal advisors of the list, Lawyer Muzaffer Kabza and Lawyer Bahri Ramadan gave information about the election system, the ballot paper, the voting system, the method of election and the issues to be considered during the election process.
Then the candidates took the floor and gave information about the problems of each village and region, presented proposals and made suggestions.
After consultation, a draft programme of the PEOPLE'S MOVEMENT was prepared.
In his closing speech at the end of the meeting, President Cemil Kabza said: "I would like to express that I am extremely pleased today. I see a sincere smile and faith on everyone's face. I thank you all individually. We are now rolling up our sleeves and starting to work non-stop for our victory on 8 October."
