Özgür Ferhat: 'The rights of animal breeders must be delivered immediately'
In a petition to the Ministry of Agriculture, the Independent MP for the province of Rodopi, Özgür Ferhat, has submitted a joint declaration of the livestock breeders of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace to the competent ministry, demanding that the production-related premium (Sindedemeni) from 2022 be paid to the beneficiaries as soon as possible.
MP Ferhat drew attention to the fact that livestock breeders did not receive the money they deserved as a result of OPEKEPE's incorrect calculation of the premium support paid in October in previous years. Özgür Ferhat demanded that this justified demand of many associations, especially Yassıköy and Kozlukebir Animal Breeders Associations, be responded to as soon as possible and the money of the breeders be transferred to their accounts.
