Legally forceful: Hasan Küçük and allies prepare to make a resounding statement outside Greek Consulate

The refusal to allow Hasan Küçük, President of the Western Thrace Turks Solidarity Association (BTTDD), to enter Greece through the Ipsala (Kipi) border gate on Tuesday 15 August will be protested in front of the Consulate General of Greece in Istanbul.
Meanwhile, BTTDD President Küçük made a written statement due to the denial of permission to enter Greece. The following statements were made in the statement:
"Since the day I was elected as the President of the Western Thrace Turks Solidarity Association, which is the umbrella organisation of the Western Thrace Turkish Minority's struggle for legal rights in Türkiye, and during the entire period of my leadership of the association, which I have served in various different positions for about 30 years, as well as all the presidents and executives who served before me, all of them have a single cause, which is the struggle for the full restoration of all the usurped rights of the Western Thrace Turkish Minority obtained by the Greek Constitution, the Treaty of Lausanne and the bilateral agreements between the two states.
For this reason, I have been and will continue to be proud and honoured of all the struggles I have done and will do for this just cause. Because our struggle is the struggle for the rights of a community that has been subjected to assimilation, isolation and forced migration for years and today is left alone in the struggle against economic difficulties.
Our determination in this just struggle has not been and will not be interrupted by any action or sanction.
For this reason, this attitude and action of the Greek Government and State Policy against me as the President of the Western Thrace Turks Solidarity Association is actually a public manifestation of the attitudes and actions that they have been holding against the Turkish Minority of Western Thrace for years and that we are tired of voicing.
On 25 April 2023, even my ban on entering Greece, which I have learnt was taken upon the request of the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs 'based on my previous statements', is a concrete proof of how the Greek State Policy is implemented on our behalf.
As I mentioned above, you cannot find even a comma, let alone a word against the integrity, continuity or the integrity of the Greek State, let alone a word against the continuity or the integrity of the Greek State, even between the lines of my written or verbal statements that I have made since my 30 years of association life and since the date I became the General President.
I and my predecessors, the General President and our executives have only one concern and that is the struggle for the full delivery of all the rights of the members of the Turkish Minority of Western Thrace, which have been usurped, suspended, not implemented or suppressed until today, as the umbrella organisation of the Turkish Minority of Western Thrace, and the rights they have obtained through the Greek Constitution, the Treaty of Lausanne and the bilateral agreements between the two states as first class citizens of the Hellenic Republic.
Whatever you do, whatever bans you impose, you will not be able to interrupt this struggle. For this reason, we know very well that this banning decision taken against me is actually not against me, but against the right of representation of the Turkish Minority of Western Thrace and I invite the authorities to urgently withdraw this wrong and unacceptable decision on behalf of my community."
