New WTMUGA leadership pays courtesy visit to Consul General Aykut Ünal
The newly elected leadership of the Western Thrace Minority University Graduates Association (WTMUGA) paid a courtesy visit to H.E. Aykut Ünal, Consul General of the Republic of Türkiye in Gümülcine, on Wednesday, January 28, 2026.
Members of WTMUGA’s Board of Directors and Supervisory Board expressed their appreciation for the warm hospitality extended by Consul General Ünal. During the meeting, the delegation shared their commitment to continuing the association’s academic, social, and community-oriented activities in Western Thrace.
Consul General Ünal, in turn, conveyed his satisfaction with the visit and wished the new WTMUGA administration continued success in its future initiatives aimed at supporting the Western Thrace Turkish Minority.
The courtesy visit concluded with the exchange of good wishes and the taking of a commemorative photograph.
