New WTMUGA Administration visits Consul General Ünal
The newly elected administration of the Western Thrace Minority Higher Education Association (WTMUGA) paid a courtesy visit to the Consul General of Türkiye in Gümülcine, Aykut Ünal.
Following the recent general assembly, the new board, led by President Hüseyin Baltacı, met with Consul General Aykut Ünal at his office on Wednesday, February 5.
In a statement issued by WTMUGA regarding the visit, the association said: "The Board of Directors and the Audit Committee members of the Western Thrace Minority Higher Education Association paid a courtesy visit to the Consul General of the Republic of Türkiye in Gümülcine, Mr. Aykut Ünal, on Wednesday, February 5, 2025."
The Consulate General of Türkiye in Gümülcine also shared a message about the meeting on its social media account: "We welcomed the newly elected Board of Directors and Audit Committee members of the Western Thrace Minority Higher Education Association. We wish the association success in its new term."
