New management elected in the Rhodope Development Company

Rhodope Development Company elected its new management. Emmanuil Tapazas became the President, while Yassıköy Mayor Caner Imam became the Vice President. The Ordinary General Assembly was held on Monday 8 July with the participation of the President of the State of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace, Christodoulos Topsidis.
During the annual general meeting of the shareholders and representatives of the Joint Stock Company for the Development of Local Authorities of Rhodope held on Monday 8 July, the Deputy Governor of Rhodope, Emmanuil Tapatzas, was elected president. The vice-president was Caner Imam.

Founded in 1992, the Rhodope Development Company coordinates, approves and implements programmes, as well as advising the public and private sector on projects and funding from various EU and national programmes. The Rhodope Development Company has members and shares in the DMT State, the municipalities of the provinces of Rodopi and Xanthi and some non-governmental organisations.
