Candidate Mufti of Xanthi Mustafa Kamu invited kinsmen to mosques to participate in the election of mufti, to be held on Friday, September 9th.
In his assessment to the Millet Newspaper, Mustafa Kamu said, “During the election of mufti, my friend Mustafa Trampa and I reached out to our compatriots in a short time and invited them to the election to be held on Friday, September 9th.
We try to explain the importance of this election. We are very pleased with the interest of our nation and its sensitivity on this issue. We are also pleased to see that the Turks of Western Thrace are aware of the importance of our mufti institution.
In this occasion, thanks to the awareness of our people, I think we will all send a strong message on Friday, September 9th.
