Mustafa Trampa, Mufti of Xanthi and Ahmet Hraloğlu, Deputy Mufti visited Hüseyin Bekir, who has served Misvaklı village for many years, at his home within the scope of the project "Loyalty to the Elderly".
In the statement made by the Mufti's Office of Xanthi regarding the visit, the following statements were made
"On Friday, 7 July, our Mufti Mustafa Trampa and our Deputy Mufti Ahmet Hraloğlu visited Hüseyin Bekir, born in 1949 in the town of Şahin, at his home in the village of Misvaklı where he resides, within the scope of the project 'Loyalty to the Great Elderly'.
Hüseyin Bekir completed primary school in the town of Şahin and then studied at the madrasah in the town. During his time in the village, he worked as a muezzin in the mosque and as an assistant to the imams. Our teacher, who made a living by farming, migrated to Misvaklı village in 1965 to work in a more comfortable environment. Our teacher, who served as imam in this village for a year, became imam in Boyacılar, which is close to Misvaklı. After working as an imam here for 9 years, he returned to Misvaklı and worked as an imam here from 1975 to 2011. Our teacher, who also gave Qur'an education to children, spent his life serving the society. Now he continues his life in peace in his house in Misvaklı village.
Hüseyin Bekir expressed his satisfaction from the visit with tears. He thanked Mufti Trampa and Deputy Mufti Hraloğlu from the bottom of his heart. Our Mufti also presented a gift to our teacher."
