MP Ferhat asks Yassıköy Post Office to remain open
New Left Party MP Özgür Ferhat took initiatives in the parliament to resolve the staff shortage problem at the Greek Post Office (ELTA) branch in Yassıköy and against the risk of closure.
Noting the unanimous decision of the Yassıköy municipal council on the issue, MP Ferhat said that he agreed with the decision of the municipal council in the face of the possible closure of the Yassıköy Post Office branch and requested the relevant ministry and institution to ensure the urgent recruitment of staff and the improvement of the local branch.
Noting that the closure of the branch would be a great loss and disadvantage for the entire municipality and its inhabitants in economic, daily and social terms, Ferhat presented the demands for urgent measures in line with the report of the local council.
