Mosquito aerial spraying scheduled in Bulustra and İnhanlı

Authorities in the Regional Unit of İskeçe have announced aerial mosquito control operations in parts of the municipalities of Bulustra and İnhanlı as part of an ongoing public health and mosquito management program.

The aerial spraying is scheduled to take place on Sunday, July 19, weather permitting, and will target areas identified as having increased mosquito activity. Officials said the operation forms part of preventive measures aimed at reducing mosquito populations during the peak summer season.

Residents have been advised to follow the recommendations issued by local authorities and avoid entering the treatment areas while spraying is underway. Authorities noted that the intervention is being carried out under the region's approved mosquito control program.

The Regional Unit stressed that the operation is intended to protect public health while minimizing the risk of mosquito-borne diseases during the summer months.
