While touring the marina as part of his official program, Mitsotakis noticed the vessel and changed his route to greet those on board.

Footage shared by local outlet Leros News showed the Greek prime minister waving from a distance before approaching the yacht and opening the conversation in Turkish with the words, "Welcome. How are you?"

Following a brief exchange, Mitsotakis wished the visitors a pleasant holiday, saying, "Have a good vacation. Take care," before continuing with his visit.

The encounter came as Mitsotakis continues visits to Greek islands located close to the coast of Türkiye.

Just days earlier, during a visit to Agathonisi, the Greek prime minister highlighted the growing number of tourists traveling from Türkiye to the Greek islands, describing the increase as a positive development for local tourism.
