Miracle Theatre Group perform in Ankara
The play, which was performed at the Ankara State Theatre 75th Year Stage on Friday, 5 January 2024, received great applause from the audience.
YTB President Eren hosted his fellow citizens from Western Thrace
Abdullah Eren, President of Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB), hosted the Mucize Theatre Troupe, which operates under the umbrella of the Western Thrace Minority University Graduates Association, at the YTB building in Ankara.
Welcoming the team headed by Hüseyin Baltacı, President of Western Thrace Minority University Graduates Association at YTB building, President Eren expressed his satisfaction for this visit and wished them continued success. Advisor to the President Recep Paçaman was also present during the visit.
Regarding the visit, YTB President Abdullah Eren shared the following post on his social media account
"We hosted the Western Thrace Minority University Graduates Association and the "Mucize Theatre Troupe" of the Association in our institution. Our brothers and sisters who keep our mother tongue Turkish and our culture alive with theatre in Western Thrace will perform the play "The Madman of Neighbouring Village" in Ankara THIS EVENING."
Ankara BATÖB fulfilled homesickness
Western Thracian students in Ankara watched the play "The Madman of Neighbouring Village" performed by BATÖB "Mucize Theatre Team" and embraced with their brothers and sisters from Western Thrace.
In the statement made by BATÖB on social media, the following statements were made:
"This evening we watched the play "The Madman of Neighbouring Village" performed by the Mucize Theatre team operating under the umbrella of the Western Thrace Minority University Graduates Association and we were happy to see our fellow countrymen who came to Ankara in these days when we are homesick. We congratulate the efforts of our young brothers from Western Thrace and wish them continued success. We would also like to thank Hüseyin Baltacı, the president of the Western Thrace Minority University Graduates Association and its board of directors for inviting us to the play this evening."
