Minority Mayor summoned to testify

Kozlukebir Mayor Rıdvan Ahmet informed the public via his Facebook account after being called to the police station as a result of the investigation initiated by the prosecutor's office.

President Rıdvan Ahmet stated the following in his statement on the subject:

"Again pressure... again police station... again complaint...

As of this morning, Sunday, September 4, I was called to the Police Station to give a statement again and again. Politics continue to be made on the "Kozlukebir Municipality and Osmangazi Municipality Fraternity Fountain", which we have completed despite an ill-willed group in Sirkeli Village Square and has become the symbol of brotherhood. I would like to let you know that we will continue our service by not giving in to such policies of intimidation and attrition, and that no one has any doubts that we will continue on this way of service. I was forced to give the statement of the purpose of the fountain's construction, how it was built, why it was built. Regardless of the outcome, I would like to emphasize once again that we will stand by our people and stand by their brotherhood."
