Minority High School in Gümülcine secures podium finish at Regional Cross Country Championships
Students from Celal Bayar Minority High School delivered a strong performance at the Rhodope regional inter-school cross country championships, securing a podium finish in a highly competitive field.
The event, held on April 21 at Panthrakikos Stadium, brought together middle school athletes from across the region and featured closely contested races.
Standout Performance in 3,000 Meters
Competing in the 3,000-meter category, student Eymen Bayram finished second with a time of 11 minutes and 38 seconds, earning a place on the podium and recognition for his performance.
His result marked a notable achievement for the school, highlighting its continued presence in regional athletics competitions.

Top-performing athletes in both boys’ and girls’ categories qualified for the upcoming competitions set to take place in Ancient Olympia later this April.
