We are used to the absolutely biased, provocative, vindictive, insulting, offending, far from the truth reports of what the local Greek media do “with exceptions”.
There are more and more times when they shout out their real point of view to the Turkish minority, whom they see as "equal citizens" but when they reflect their inner world to the outside, as the "enemy", willingly or unwillingly.
If you remember, Western Thrace Minority Graduates Association donated an ambulance to the Rhodope State Hospital with the income obtained from a bazaar it organized. At that time, extremists got on the backs of some of the local press and caused "the apocalypse".
Last year, with the initiative of Turkish businessmen from Xanthi, a mobile oxygen unit was donated to Xanthi State Hospital. Elena Rafaela, director of Xanthi State Hospital, was almost declared a "traitor" because of the admission.
