Mehmet Kenan Ahmet, father-in-law of GTGB President Sedat Hasan passes away
Mehmet Kenan Ahmet, the father-in-law of Sedat Hasan, President of the Gümülcine Turkish Youth Union (GTGB), has passed away, causing deep sorrow among his family and community.
According to information received, Ahmet had been feeling unwell for the past two days and suffered a heart attack during a doctor’s visit yesterday. He was 64 years old.
Mehmet Kenan Ahmet was a resident of Seymen village in Gümülcine and a retired farmer. He was married to Şükriye Ahmet and was the father of two children, Gülay and Günay.
In a statement shared on social media, GTGB President Sedat Hasan announced that his father-in-law would be laid to rest today (Saturday, Dec. 20) at the Seymen village cemetery following the afternoon prayer.
