Meeting held on the Customs of Kipoi

The points in which the Region of EMT can intervene in order to facilitate the operation and functionality of the The customs office of Kipoi and its operation was the focus of a meeting held at the Prefecture of Alexandroupolis in the presence of the Regional Governor of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace Mr. Christodoulos Topsidis.

The meeting was initiated by the Regional Vice-Regional Governor of Evros, Mr. Vangelis Pouliiou, and was attended by officials of Region of EMT who have responsibilities related to the Customs, as well as representatives of the Customs administration, the police officers serving in the Customs and professional drivers.

As the Regional Governor explained, the need for a complete renovation of the Kipoi Customs Office has been identified and efforts are being made to achieve such a project, however, corrective measures can certainly be taken in its current operation.

The aim of this meeting was exactly this: to identify the points where the Region of Kippe can and may intervene in order to facilitate the operation and functionality of the customs office. The relevant interventions are already underway and the results will be visible in a very short time with the cooperation of all those involved.
